Lithuania’s Communications Regulatory Authority (RRT) published a full-year 2025 market and quality report. On the fixed side, it recorded about 789,600 subscriptions. How to evaluate Wi-Fi before booking
A screenshot from a router cupboard is weak evidence. Ask the host for a recent test made from the room or workstation you would use. The result should show date, download, upload, and latency. Even better, ask whether residents make simultaneous calls, where the nearest access point is, and whether Ethernet is available.
A useful message to send: “Could you share a recent speed test from the desk in this room, including upload and ping? Is the connection fixed fibre, cable, or mobile; is Ethernet available; and what backup is used if the main service fails?”

Lithuania’s main mobile networks are Telia, Tele2, and Bitė. Compare their current official coverage and plan pages on the day you buy; prices and data packages are volatile. Read the product terms carefully rather than assuming that “eSIM available” means instant visitor activation.
